Rudy “Papa” Mora Domulot, age 90 of Oviedo peacefully went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 17, 2016. Born in the Philippines on September 24, 1925 to Fidel Ferrer Domulot and Graciana Mora. Lifetime resident of Pensacola, Florida, Rudy is preceded in death by his wife Ruth Evelyn Domulot and two grandsons, Matthew John Caselli and Shane Dominic Wilson. Rudy leaves behind the ten children he raised: Debbie Crescini, Teri Davison, Nisi Manna, Nina Schwab, Lita Caselli, Freddie Domulot, Rudy Domulot, Jr., Michael Domulot, Jeannie Wilson and Jason Domulot; their spouses/significant others; 28 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild in the United States. In the Philippines, he leaves behind many loving family members especially his sister, nieces and nephews. During his military career, Rudy proudly served in the Philippine Guerrilla Army as a Sergeant. Then, he enlisted in the US Navy to fight in both WWII and Korean Wars for our country. Settling in Florida and supporting his children was always a priority for Rudy. He loved to travel among his children’s families taking care of their garden and enjoying his grandchildren. Rudy enjoyed fun as he was not a stranger to the Greyhound Park and you could always interest him in an exciting game of “Tonk”! Most important, what we all will remember is what he taught his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, “Be brave and never give up”. This was his mantra. A visitation will be held Friday, February 26, 2016 from 2-4 PM and 6-8PM at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home, Oviedo Chapel. A Graveside Service will be at Florida Memorial Gardens in Rockledge, Florida at 1:00 PM. Arrangements entrusted to Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home, Oviedo Chapel 501 E. Mitchell Hammock Rd., Oviedo, Florida 32765. 407-366-8999. Please view and sign the guestbook at www.baldwinfairchildoviedo.com
