Steve Kennedy, 90, of Viera, Florida, passed away on February 22, 2021. Steve was the proud product of New York City. After graduating from Mount Saint Michael’s High School he attended Fordham University, graduating in 1952.
Steve was then commissioned from the Navy's Officer Candidate School in Newport, Rhode Island and participated in the Korean War and the Cuban Blockade, retiring from his military career as a Commander.
In civilian life Steve was a Manhattan-based commercial real estate executive and property manager for over thirty years and earned his MBA in 1979. He retired to Viera in 2005 and was a member of the Indian River Colony Club and Ascension Catholic Church.
Steve was married to his wife Marilyn for over 55 years and is survived by his sister Nancy Fiesel of Pearl River, NY and son, Steve and granddaughter Kate of Winter Springs, FL, and numerous nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his daughter-in-law Nancy Kennedy.
Steve was interred at the Cape Canaveral National Cemetery. BZ.
