Thomas Francis Maguire

Thomas Maguire, 91, of Oviedo, Florida, passed away on 02/24/2024. He was born in New York City on November 23, 1932. Tom graduated from St Anne’s High School. He was married to Eleanor O’Connell on 11/23/52.

He had a long and successful career in aviation for Lockheed, Garrett AiResearch, and Falcon Jet Corporation.

Tom was a Navy veteran who upon discharge from the Navy, worked painting commercial aircraft, including Airforce One. Eventually, Tom worked his way up to National Sales Director for Falcon Jet. In that role, he sold custom corporate jets to the Wrigleys, The Anheuser Busch Family, and the Bee Gees, among others.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents Thomas and Helen and brothers Donald and Kenneth. He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Eleanor, his son Thomas, daughter Barbara Lacoch, six grandchildren, Lynne Marie Walker, Zack Lacich, Justin Lacich, Cara Lorentzen, Heather Maguire, and Garrett Lacich, and nine great-grandchildren, Jack and Reese Walker, Lucas, Levi, Eleanor, Jade, Leo, Liam Lacich, and Rhett Lorentzen.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 9th, at 11 AM, at Oviedo City Church, 300 W State Road 434, Oviedo FL. 32765.
