

Victor Robert Cosmai, 103, of Orlando, Florida passed away on Easter Sunday, April 21, 2019. He was born on January 3, 1916 in White Plains, New York to the late Jospeh and Lucy (Lisena) Cosmai. Victor spent most of his life in New Jersey. He served three years in the Army in the 201st Infantry during the war. Victor met his wife, Florence in 1940, and they had three children. He began his enginerring career of 40 years at the Plaza Hotel in the power plant. While working, he attended school at night and became a mechanical and refrigeration engineer. Afterward, he worked 25 years for the Sweets Company of America, which makes tootsie rolls, lollipops and fudge. Victor also worked for Kmart, Bergen Pines County Hospital and New Home Warranty. Upon retirement, he traveled with his wife all over the world! Victor is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Florence Cosmai (January 16, 1997). Survivors include his children, Michael J. Cosmai, Carol (Cosmai) Bell and Diane (Cosmai) Shaffer; ten grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
