Victoria Marie (Hoffmeyer) Lehenbauer was born on August 19, 1930 in Lakewood Ohio. to Paul and Helen Victoria (nee Schwan) Hoffmeyer. The Lord took her home on April 28, 2020. After marriage, she and Paul went to Brazil for mission work initially and then lived in Bridger Montana, Ephrata Washington and Deshler Ohio before retiring in Bowling Green Ohio. Vickie served many roles in the congregations Paul served but spent most of her time (and energy) raising their seven children. They moved to the Lutheran Haven in 2014.

Mark loved to pop in on the Lehenbauers and have conversation, especially about doctrine and theology. We had an immense respect and love for both Pastor and Mrs Lehenbauer and enjoyed visits, calls, and cards over the years. We were honored to be called 'friends', and I'll always be thankful and never forget how loving Pastor was to our children when Lillian, Mark's mother, passed away.
You'd be hard pressed to find someone with more energy than Mrs Lehenbauer! Her love for the Lord, her many gifts, and enthusiasm in using them, to the glory of the Lord, was astounding.....and our family will think of her every time we make her "Light Puffy Roll" recipe!
A short time after Pastor Lehenbauer died, I called and had a long conversation with Mrs Lehenbauer. She was exuberant that Pastor had passed away on Easter! And, I mean EXUBERANT!! So much so, that it took me aback a little, having experienced losing Mark and also becoming a widow, just a few months before. She couldn't say enough about how wonderful it must be to celebrate Easter in the company of Jesus and all the saints before us!
In a later call with her, she continued to proclaim (yes, with exuberance, again!) the truth and joy of knowing that Pastor is in heaven, and that she, too, will join him when her purpose is complete here.
My heartfelt condolences go to Mrs Lehenbauer's family, friends, and loved ones. She was a delightful EXUBERANT individual, who will be missed and remembered. Knowing her EXUBERANT love for the Lord and trust in His promises to us, I feel great joy for her.
The celestial choir has received an awakening and heaven just got a lot more fun!!

I have many fond memories of both Mrs Lehenbauer as well as Pastor when we would attend womans retreats or ELS synodical convention. She truly loved the Lord.

I knew Pastor Paul and Victoria from Peace Lutheran Church and want to send my condolences to her family. Family was important to her. She had a beautiful smile. May she rest in peace in the arms of Jesus.

I met Victoria and Pastor Paul as a new resident of Ohio, a new wife, and a new mom of our little Zuriana. She immediately took our small family of 3 under her wing. She showed my husband and me the love of a mom and to each of our 4 children the love of a grandma. All good, fun memories of joy, food, celebrating life, and sharing the Gospel with others. Also, deep spiritual guidance when needed from Pastor Paul. One of my favorite memories is when our Zipporah was to be baptized by Grandpa Lehenbauer. The baptism of 1 turned into 6 becoming baptized and Victoria providing each child and one adult with a lovely baptismal cloth as a keepsake. The baptisms occurred at a renovated carriage barn and the praises of our Savior in Spanish and English. I thought it may have been a good memory, also, for them as they spent their first year together as missionaries in Brazil! I already miss you both, so much and look forward to the heavenly reunion adoring our Creator.

Aunt Vicky was my favorite aunt. When we visited, she always welcomed us with smiles, laughter, and good food. She always had games and activities planned. Parties and celebrations were her specialty. It was such a pleasure to have her attend one of the "Gross Girl Weekends" several years ago when we got to share our good food, laughter, and games with her! She and Uncle Paul loved the Lord with all their hearts -showing it in their words, and actions. Although her journey here on earth is over, I know she's rejoicing in heaven with her Savior and the loved ones that went before her. I'm praying for comfort for her whole family as they remember what a special woman she was.

A beautiful example on earth of Christian love for others. Her music, songs, friendly and joyful attitude were much appreciated and welcomed by our family. Full of love for Jesus present in her smile and desire to serve others. We thank God that Victoria and Paul were a part of our lives for 24 years. May the family be comforted at this time.
