February 26, 1942 – September 20, 2020
Wayne was born in Pittsburgh, PA and moved to Florida at the age of 6.
He was a proud graduate of Edgewater High School class of 1960 and maintained many friendships with classmates throughout his life.
Following high school, Wayne enlisted in the United States Marine Corps where he served 4 years in Washington DC as a body bearer and in the Presidential Honor Guard under President Kennedy.
Wayne is survived by his mother, Dorothy E. Geisler, brothers Glenn Geisler and Robert (Bobby) Geisler.
His great joy was his family, wife Karen K Geisler, son David C Geisler (wife Margaret), daughter Heather J Baumeyer (husband Matt) & stepdaughter Natalie A Bouler (husband Shawn). They blessed him with six grandchildren, Danielle Keith (husband Ryan), Chase Geisler, Sidney Allen, Luke Allen, Juliet Baumeyer and Hailey Bouler. His newest delight was his first great-granddaughter, Wylie Ann Keith.
Wayne worked many years in the clothing industry before finding his niche in the food service industry. He worked diligently for Sysco Food Services of Central Florida for 24 years and retired on December 31, 2007. Following that, he became a handyman and flipped houses until his health would no longer permit it.
Through the years, Wayne was very active in the evangelism ministries of several churches, First Baptist Indian Rocks, First Baptist Atlanta and First Baptist Tuscawilla to name a few. His work left an eternal legacy.
Everyone who knew him knew of his great faith in Jesus and his love for his family, his friends, fishing, travelling, Mexican food and adventures. Nothing was better than combining all of those things into big family vacations!
He will be greatly missed and forever loved.
