He was happiest hunting and fishing with his favorite fishing buddy, Liam Wayne. He could fix anything and everything and on more occasions than one, built or rebuilt an entire house for family. When he was home, you could find him watching western movies or NASCAR with his favorite person in the world, even though he was rooting for #4 Kevin Harvick and she was rooting for someone else. He was so excited when his favorite football team, the Kansas City Chiefs, won the super bowl. It’s as if they knew they had to win this one for him. And What he loved more than anything else, was taking the family camping or to Disney. During Disney’s Not So Scary Halloween, he would race us around the Magic Kingdom on his Zappy competing on who could get the most candy. He almost always won, and would then pass out the candy he collected to the kids. We’re going to miss watching pappy’s eyes light up when the youngest kids, Harper and Arlo, would visit him. He was the world’s best pappy and he will forever be missed by all of us.
He was a Pappy to Kathi, Johnny, Jill, Jodi, Rick, Missi, Erik, Tami, Michelle, Heidi, Michael, Ashley, Tim, Sarah, Anthony, Joseph, Cheyenne, John, Justin, Tyler, Ray, Makayla, Sobee, EJ, Alyssa, Jay, Liam Wayne, Kaiden, Harper, Arlo, Tammy, Teddy, and many others.
He was survived by his sisters and brothers: Barbara, Beverly, Norman, Roger, Ronald, and Patricia.
Most of all, he was loved by his family and our hearts are broken.
