Adrienne Katy DiGirolamo

Our beloved mother passed away peacefully the evening of September 23, just shy of her 95th birthday. By her bedside were her three children, Bernadette (Joe) Aliotti, Philip (Michele) DiGirolamo, and Rosanna (Tony) Helm.

Adrienne married her beloved Angelo in 1948, and raised their children in Monterey, CA. They were amongst the pioneers of multiple businesses on Old Fisherman's Wharf, including Angelo's Restaurant, the Upstairs Gallery and the Bruce Ariss Wharf Theater. Throughout her life, Adrienne was deeply committed to her community. She volunteered at San Carlos School, Junipero Memorial High School, Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula and Meals on Wheels.

Adrienne is survived by her remaining siblings, Mario "Sonny" DiRusso and Lillian Christlieb, her grandchildren, Joseph (Lisa) Aliotti, Angelo DiGirolamo, Angelo (Leslie) Aliotti, Philip DiGirolamo, Amy DiGirolamo, Erin Helm, Matthew (Aimi) Helm, Megan (Gonzalo) Escobar and Scott DiGirolamo; her eight great grandchildren, Jessica DiGirolamo, Giuseppe Aliotti, Dominic Aliotti, Angelo DiGirolamo, Dominic DiGirolamo, Gianna Aliotti, Bella Rose and Oliver Escobar.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to all those who lovingly cared for "Mother" during her final years. Their kindness and compassion meant everything to Adrienne and her family.

Her family will honor Adrienne with a Celebration of Life at a future date.
