This is to Angela....you were small but mighty,brave, fierce, passionate (about whatever you set your heart on), a competitor, honest and frank, hilarious and just pure light to be around. We tried to keep in touch after High School.....but inevitably life took over and our journeys led to different paths however the memories of adolescent friendship remain in my heart forever.  The sleep-overs where we talked about "boys" and all of our crushes for hours, the one time we had our "Sweet 16" Birthday party together, PGHS parties down on the beach with a bonfire and our friends, our battle for attention of Seniors when we were Freshman in band, Cheerleading camp and crazzzy football games when were on major sugar buzzes from the concession stand food, your memorable Graduation speech that had me in tears......the list is endless and I am rambling right now with scattered thoughts and no direction bit the fact is....is that I can't believe you're not on this Earth plane any longer.  Often times when I'm in town.....I miss running into you at the Mall, listening you boast about your beautiful children (and in HS you said you would never have kids..) and talk about how proud of them you are.  We would hug, talk and pick up like decades hadn't passed by.  I love you girl!  You are a puzzle piece to my picture of childhood.  I drive through Pacific Grove...near Lobos / Gibson and I feel my heart aching because I wasn't around when you were ill.....I didn't know.  I guess we're all not Superhuman and are vulnerable and will ALL go through this one day.  I believe....you are in a better World now.  In a new realm where your Soul is FREE and there is no more pain, suffering or darkness.  I see you surrounded by a comforting, ethereal light of harmony, balance and unconditional love.  One day.....I will see you there my 'ol friend and we will once again....have a tete-a-tete again n and fly off into the ether. Warm hugs to you Angela Moore.....and ooooodles of love.  ♡, Liana 

My name is Wayne Lavengood and I am both a retired CHOMP employee and a musician (accordion player).  Angela was my hospital contact who scheduled my Friday music played at the koi fountain 
It was clear that Angela loved music and relished her job.  I have memories of her sitting on the opposite side of the fountain area to listen to my music  She would drop by after to provide feedback
I just learned of Angela’s passing yesterday when I ran into Dave Velasquez another musician at the hospital 
Angela was a true angel who loved her work and was the perfect person for it

I worked with Angela for several years at the Monterey Plaza Hotel & Spa. She brought joy into work with her every day. Not to mention, she was a crackerjack worker. Always dependable, efficient and a perfectionist to all the details of her job. We had lots of laughs, too. Of course we all felt sad that she was leaving for her job at CHOMP.  We kept in touch by having an occasional lunch together. And we texted a lot and wrote PM notes on Facebook.
She had a huge heart, was always kind and caring, too. I was a recipient of her love when she would see my name on CHOMP’s list of new arrivals. She always came to visit me and brought me flowers. For me, it was so awful not to be able to visit her in CHOMP because of Covid. My condolences  to her parents, sister, Nico, daughter and Paul. Rest In Peace, Angela. ❤️

I remember when Angela and Daniela would come into my work; they were always laughing and smiling. It was hard not to do the same in their prescence. Over time, we became friends. When I lost my best friend nine years ago, I slipped into a very heavy depression and began evaluating facets of my life that I had just sort of accepted were the norm because I didn't think I deserved or arguably needed better. Angela and a handful of older friends that I considered my "mom squad" swung into action and helped bring me back to a place where I could function, advocate for myself, and begin the catalyst for change. She really was an angel among us mortals and I will never forget her kindness, her devotion to her family and fur kids, her tenacity, and above all- her spark. Rest in peace, my friend. We miss you.
