it totally captures what happenned when				
I first saw Angie.				
				
Angie

Angie was the most beautiful person I'd ever 				
met and her smile lit up the room.  I know 				
that's a cliché but it was true with Angie.				
She had a great laugh and as Mandie said,						
it was sometimes embarrassing but I'd 				
give  anything to hear that laugh again. 				
We had an amazing 40 year love affair				
and although much of it was with her				
in tremendous pain we had a lot of fun 				
and laughs and an amazing life				

My dear sister Angie was warm, loving, effervescent, considerate, generous, unpretentious and beautiful.  She was self-sufficient, positive and fiercely independent.  As a teenager Angie had many requests for dates.  To avoid hurting anyone’s feelings she would tell her would-be suitors that she was too busy to date because she worked washing airplanes at Burbank airport!  When we were growing up Angie and I felt like we were the closest of us five siblings, and we promised each other to stay that way throughout our adult lives. It wasn’t always easy as we went our separate ways  but we did our best.    Angie, I love you and miss you!  There will never be another you

Dearest Angela 
you left us so early and peacefully in your sleep  without a chance to say good buy. You are now with the angels  where your beautiful soul belongs. You left us and I never had a chance to thank you  for your big and generous heart when you accepted us in to your family. 
Thank you my dearest Angela for loving Vladan as much as you loved your Mandie and Lisa. Only the kindest people can give so much love.
 Thank you Angela for all your support and friendship, for unforgettable memories, our little chats and laughs.
Our little family gatherings will never be the same without beautiful Nona. We will never forget your smiling face and happiness , your unbridled you when you were with Cami and Christian. You are so very missed and you will be forever in our hearts.

I buried my mom yesterday.  Hard to believe I just typed that. I buried my mom. She’s gone.  She was only 70 years old and died in her sleep.  And somehow, the world keeps going on. That’s the worst part. You’d think when the best mom that ever lived dies, the world should stop. But it didn’t. I’m having a hard time with that. 

My mom was born to be a mom. She made it look so easy. So you can imagine how surprised I was when I had my own children.  It’s so far from easy. But it was effortless for her. 

When we were grown, she wanted nothing more than to have grandchildren to spoil.  She did eventually get to have grandchildren but by then she was very ill and it wasn’t how we imagined it to be. They are still young but I will spend the rest of my life telling them how much she loved them, and wanted them, and how lucky they were to have her even though we lost her so young.

Everyone loved her upon meeting her.  She literally brightened up the room.  People will remember her for her smile and her laugh, which was guaranteed to make those around her giggle. Except me when I was a teenager - I was so embarrassed by her “cackle”.  

And then there was her love story with Bob.  Even when I was young, I knew they had a special relationship.  To be honest, to this day, I have yet to see another couple as in love as they always were.  Always.  In the beginning, the middle and even the end.  The end was so hard on both of them, but I still saw their love story in how he kissed her, how he talked about her and how he took care of her.  

People will remember her for her beauty, her sweetness, her smile and her laugh.  I will also remember her for being the best mom anyone could ever hope for.  I can only hope to be half as good as a mother as she was.  

I know I’m going to be ok but for now I go through each day with the constant realization that I don’t have a mom anymore. She’s gone. I miss her so much. And I hope I’ll always make her proud.

When I think of my Aunt Angela  I think of having fun and laughing and someone who genuinely loved spreading happiness. She had a kind heart and just loved to laugh. She sang this funny song for her beloved gucka buckas - “you gucka buckas are all alike, your bark is much worse than your bite, gucka bucka gucka bucka” and then she would laugh her most beautiful and infectious laugh. So lucky she was my aunt and I will always remember her as smiling.  I know she is laughing and smiling in heaven. 

The heartfelt laugh, the knowing glance, the generous heart - her friendship will forever be cherished and remembered. We shared many parties, dinners, family swim time, my baby shower, her wedding to the love of her life, all times shared and loved.  Angie will forever be remembered as the beautiful soul we were gifted to know and love. ♥️
