

She worked as a laboratory technician at the Sainte Pierre Hospital in Louvain, Belgium, where she met her future husband, Joseph Sleckman. They married in 1977 and then moved first to Canada and then to the United States.
She spent most of her life in Fargo, where her husband was a physician at the Dakota Clinic, then Essentia Health.
She was a private person, and devoted to her family. Her passion was cooking. She also loved opera, travel, French culture, and antiques.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph Sleckman, and by her two daughters, Valerie Townsend, in London, England, and Stephanie Oliva, living in Monterey, California. She will be missed dearly.

A visitation for Anne-Marie will be held Thursday, December 5, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at The Paul Mortuary, 390 Lighthouse Ave, Pacific Grove, CA 93950. Her funeral service will be held Friday, December 6, 2024 at 11:00 AM at The Paul Mortuary.
