A graduate of Central High School, Barbara worked for many companies throughout her secretarial career. She moved her family to Cranston, R.I. where she worked for Ciba Geigy for 17 years before retiring to Monterey in 1982. She then worked as a Kelly Girl for various agencies in Monterey.
Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew R. Vellucci. In addition to her daughter, she is survived by her Godchild, Karen Melfi Fisco and her husband, Ralph; her niece, Susan Vellucci Lemos and her husband, Stephen (Kip) and many other family members and friends.
Funeral services will be at Noon this Wednesday, January 5 at the Santa Rosalia Chapel in San Carlos Cemetery followed by a graveside service. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the American Stroke Foundation, 6405 Metcalf Ave., Ste. 214, Overland Park, KS, 66202.
