Carmel ~ Beverly J. Stanton, a thirty-one year Peninsula resident, passed away on December 5. She was born and raised in Lodi and spent many years in Rio Vista before making her home in Carmel. She was a concierge at I. Magnin’s and Saks Fifth Avenue in a career spanning twenty-eight years.
A talented organist and pianist, she was also a gifted seamstress. Beverly was a member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Pacific Grove.
Beverly is survived by her son, Greg (Minnie Ra) Heiser; her grandchildren, Maximillian DeLance, Emma and Jacob Heiser; her companion, Joe Atkinson and her niece and nephew, Linda and Roger Egbert. She was preceded in death by her Husband, William Stanton in 2000 and her brother, Gene Egbert.
Visitation will take place at The Paul Mortuary tomorrow, December 11, from 4:00 – 7:00 PM. Funeral services will be held at The Little Chapel by-the-Sea on Thursday, December 12 at 1:00 PM followed by burial at El Carmelo Cemetery.
