Carmella Ann Toce (née Fontana) beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend passed away on Sunday, October 19, 2025 at the age of 85. Carmella was born in Monroe, Louisiana on August 3, 1940 and in 1956 made Pacific Grove, California her home. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Salvatore Toce (married for 62 years), her two infant daughters Roxanne and Sally Ann, her parents Dominic and Marie Fontana, and her two brothers Charles and Gabe Fontana. She is survived by her two daughters Angela Toce and DeeAnne (Andrew) Davis, two granddaughters Carmella Toce and Victoria (Austin) Hertel and two grandsons Alexander and Zachary Davis, her sister Paula Buckman (née Fontana) and numerous nieces and nephews. Family was the center of her life and her greatest devotion. A service celebrating her life will be held on Wednesday, October 29, 2025 at 11:00 am at the Paul Mortuary in Pacific Grove with a committal service following at San Carlos Cemetery in Monterey.
