David V. Baker, born in Brooklyn, New York, passed away at his home. A graduate of Erasmus High School and San Francisco State, he served in the US Army before beginning a thirty-year career as a health insurance underwriter. David was a lifetime member of the Padre Trails Camera Club, an active member of St. James Episcopal Church in Monterey and enjoyed his role as a docent at the Monterey Museum of Art and the Monterey City History Museum on the Presidio of Monterey. David is survived by his wife of fifty-one years, Mary Sue, and his sisters-in-law, Helen Rogers (Bill) Henry and Laura (Susan Brown) Gore. A Celebration of David’s Life will take place at St. James Episcopal Church on Saturday, July 25 at 3:00 PM.
