Pacific Grove ~ Donna M. Howland, a native of Portland, Oregon, passed away on April 3. After working as a legal secretary in Las Vegas, she moved to Pacific Grove in 1957. Donna was a secretary at Pacific Grove Middle School for seventeen years, retiring in 1984.
Donna received her bachelor’s degree in home economics from Oregon State. She was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma and enjoyed travelling all over the world. In addition to playing golf, she was an avid bridge player belonging to a bridge club at Ft. Ord.
Donna is survived by her children, Travis Towson of Springfield, Virginia and Roger Towson of Carmel Valley; her sister, Ruth Hiltermann of Ventura; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
