George E. Young, Jr., age 92, passed away on March 20 after a brief illness. Born in Woodstock, New Hampshire, he served in the US Navy from 1943 to 1959. George then worked as the business manager at Monterey Peninsula College from 1961 until his retirement in 1989.
George’s beloved wife of 52 years, Ruth, passed away in 2006. He leaves behind his children, John, James, Susan and George III; his grandchildren, Andrew and Traci and his friend and companion, Carol Simpson.
