Wendy was a vibrant indelible spirit full of wit and wisdom and an abiding sense of triumphant jubilance. She had a talent for expression with a resonant voice that was warm and full of vigor. Whenever she spoke it was not possible to ignore her, you wanted to hear what she had to say, because it was interesting, provocative, and humorous in a qualitative manner. She met her challenges with aplomb, dignity, and class. She was a devoted Mother and very proud Grandmother - when little Gwenny was in the room with her, her focus was so keen that it was as if there were no others there beyond the two of them. It was lovely for them to have had time with each other and form that inter generational matriarchical bond that will no doubt remain with Gwenny for the rest of her life. Wendy was a fascinating and intriguing woman full of life and love and a joie de vivre that will carry on in our hearts and minds. I am grateful to have known her, and want Lisa, Scott, and Gwenny to know how much love, respect, and admiration I have for her, and for each of them.
