The memory of your talk at the Mind/Body Alternative Medicine conference in Alexandria, VA many years ago remains active and alive in my mind and heart. You reached my soul and encouraged me to never give up on being everything I could possibly be for the patients with cancer who came my way for help. My patients and I thank you again and may you be blessed in your new existence wherever that may be.

Aye, Dear Sister! I still miss you so much! You will live forever in my memory! Lew and I continue the cancer retreat work you and I started many years ago, indeed I get the chance to share your work and your name at every retreat! I keep your work and your words alive through the work I do here at Kokolulu Cancer Retreats and I keep you alive in my heart! I know you are finally at peace, a hui hou!

There are no words ... images perhaps ... memories of quality time spent. We talked about a more compassionate system of healthcare and your visions are slowly becoming reality. Your were a unique being ... a teacher, a mentor, a "sistafriend." Your wisdom will always have a voice in my mind, and I will do my best to pay forward all that you shared and all that you taught. My friend, you will be missed. You will influence my practice and my research and my perception of life always. The world seems somehow smaller without you in it.

She passed as I held my right
hand in hers, with my left hand upon her head, and said "You've
embraced us all with so much love, let us all embrace you with ours
now".. Then a few soft breaths later.. She rests in peace... 3.7.2012

Jeanne, thank you very much for your wisdom, mentoring, kindness and friendship. My deepest sympathies to the family, friends, and countless students all over the world. You connected with each of us individually and in your presence we felt this special bond and were becoming better human beings. While we miss you and shed our tears, you have fun with all those wise souls that preceded you and in particular our dear friend Carl Simonton. Hug and kiss him from us.

My husband, Carlos Alvarado, and I would like to extend our deepest sympathies to Jeanne's friends and family. We had the good fortune to spend some time with her in 2008 in Utrecht.
