John and Jan made their home in San Jose before retiring to an idyllic mountain home in Shingletown, California, where they spent twenty happy years surrounded by the beauty of the forest. In 2017, they relocated to Pacific Grove, California, where John would spend his final years by the sea..
To his son John, he was more than a father — he was a best friend, and the man who stood beside him as best man on his wedding day. He will always be the best man.
