Lanny Leland Kelly

Born in Oakland, California to James Lawrence Kelly and Ruth Leona Dunn on December 2 1937, Lanny lived a life filled with doing the things that gave him joy; restoring real estate, gardening, traveling and a passion for music which he loved to compile and share with his friends. Lanny had a beautiful baritone voice that he shared in his younger years in recitals, as church soloist and in sacred radio broadcasts.

Over the years, he lived on Whidbey Island and other areas in Western WA, Greenville, SC, and Marysville, WA until he retired to Carmel, CA in 2021.

Lanny was predeceased by his parents and an older brother Arthur Davies. He is survived by his partner, Meg Kelly-Smith, his cousins Wayne Jackson of Greenville, SC, Nancy Sweet in Ocala, FL with her children, and their families, and cousin Jacob Arcanin in Napa, CA and his children. He is also survived by his brother Arthur's widow Marlyn in Greenville, SC and nephews and their families.
