She was born in Bogota Colombia on April 11, 1916. She married Alberto Porras in 1940. They moved to the U.S. east coast in 1951 and to Pacific Grove in 1972.
Mrs. Porras received her teaching degree in Bogota, Col and enjoyed a teaching career of over 20 years.
She was preceded in death by Alberto Porras, her loving husband of 64 years and Dr. Jose Prol, son-in-law.
She is survived by her daughters; Vicki Porras Prol (Steve Mitchell) and Diane Albert (Dennis)
Grandchildren; Cindy Gomez (Jim), Lisa V. Dias (Bruno), Kevin Albert (Antoinette), Kelly Albert (Thomas Clayton)
and Great Grandchildren; Sergio Bindel, Brendan Dias, Eli Gomez, Bella and Joseph Albert.
Special thanks to her loving caregiver, Hilda Hernandez and Hospice of the Central Coast.
She will be greatly missed.
