Lynn Gaye Lombardo

February 26, 1960March 19, 2020

On March 19th, we lost our beloved daughter and sister, Lynn Gaye Lombardo. Born February 26, 1960, Lynn was a lifelong resident at Pacific Grove. She passed peacefully in her sleep on the first day of spring.

Lynn retired as a supervisor with Pacific Bell after a career spanning 25 years.

A beautiful daughter, loyal sister, loving auntie, and dear friend, Lynn is survived by her “Mum” Annette, Chris, Lori and Lisa, who all loved her so very much.

A compassionate heart was her gift. Lynn will be remembered for her beautiful smile and her willingness to help others. “Peace is a journey not a destination “ PEACE ☮️

A private memorial service will be held at a future date.

Hi Lynn’s family and friends,

I just needed to share how kind she was to me.
I loved her. We would walk together after meetings back to her car or mine.
Before the shelter in place we were planning to have coffee together.
She was so supportive with her warm heart and energy and of course wonderful smile.
I so miss her and always will.

I have so many memories of Lynn it's difficult to pick just one. We met in junior high . That smile of hers from the very first one stole my heart it did! One of my most recent memories is the two of us , now with grey I n our hair, sitting in downtown PG and she was sharing her scrapbook with me and you guessed it.... Filled with so much love and faith, actually brimming over with it!!!❤️ I feel blessed to have spent so much time with her on & off over the years. She is one of those souls that you could pick up with right where you left off. I will miss you huge 💔 Lynn . Lori & Lisa sending you my love & heart felt condolences to all of your family. I have some great fairly recent photos that are hiding from me right now but clear in my minds eye 😍

Lynn was a special person ..... I really connected with her , she was very intense, in a good way, when we would talk she really cared about what I had to say.... Lynn and I became friends in a very short period of time. She truly gave me the feeling that if i ever needed her she'd be there. In fact recently I was having some issues , and I got a text from her that night asking if I was ok.... It meant a great deal to me... Lynn was a compassionate and understanding person... I will miss her so much

So Very sad to hear about Lynn’s passing . Lynn and I spent a lot of time together I’n our teens and briefly as young adults . But our paths went in different directions and we didn’t keep in touch . The friend I remember was a compassionate giving person with a great smile And good sense of humor :) I know her presence will missed greatly .. My Heartfelt prayers and Peace go out the Lombardo family and all her loved ones .
Thank you Lynn for those fun years together .

To the Lombardo family:
I was so shocked to hear of Lynne’s passing. Although we will all cross that same bridge one day, it doesn’t make it any easier, when it’s our loved one making the journey; Because Lynn was a believer, I know I will see her again. Anytime First Baptist Church had an event, I could be sure to see Lynn working with the women in the kitchen; she served everyone with one of her fantastic Smiles.
Although we loved her, God loved her best, and has called her home.
May God bless, and keep you, may he comfort you during your time of loss, and grief, may he strengthen, and guide you as he heals your hearts.

Respectfully yours,
Cyndi Dorsey
And family 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽❤️
