Margaret Isabel Larson

Margaret Isabel Larson, age 92, a homemaker, died in Monterey on Monday, May 27, 2013. She was born August 7, 1920 in San Jose, California and lived in Pacific Grove for 54 years. After marrying in 1945, Mrs. Larson moved with her husband to various army posts in the United States and overseas until his retirement in 1959.

For several years, she was a team member of Senior Citizens for Christ, visiting convalescent hospitals in the area. During the past few years, she and her husband delivered for Meals on Wheels. Mrs. Larson attended the First Baptist Church of Monterey and was a member of one of the church’s missionary circles. She enjoyed walking, gardening, and was an avid reader.

Mrs. Larson was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin, in 2006 and her son, Edwin, in 2001. She is survived by her two sons, Eric of North Las Vegas, NV, and Keith of Encinitas, CA and one grandson, Wesley.
