Im sorry to find out this late about your loss of a great kid. We met him at dobbins air force base in Ga 2004. We had great time shooting at the range riding in his modified Jeep and kept him fed and treated him like our son and great friend. I was reminded by the birthday reminder app and wanted to wish him happy birthday.
God bless you all and sorry for your loss❤

Mark, thank you for taking the time to call me in Atlanta to tell me the sad news about your son. I know that you and your family are deeply affected by this.

As you know, I became acquainted with Mark while he was stationed here. While I never met you and Sally in person, I do remember our phone conversations about Mark.

I will always remember Mark for his deep passion for flying. Even after he left Atlanta, he continued to call me from time to time to tell me about his latest adventures in flying and his travels about the country.

My heart goes out to you and I hope that you will find healing as time goes by.

We are so saddened his passing. We got to know Mark when he lived in Stockton KS. My husband is a Marine as well, and we really enjoyed his company. You raised a wonderful young man...and we appreciate his service to our Country. God bless you ...and hold you in the palm of his hand..during this most difficult and your family are in our prayers.

Incredibly sad to hear the news. Mark Tyler, however brief, made such an impact on my life, and I'm sure many others. Such a special man. My sympathies to all he has left behind.

Mark and Sally, I was truly honored to be a part of the funeral service for your Marine son, Mark Tyler, today at the San Joaquin National Cemetery. When you look at the number of Americans that have ever lived, by comparison only a very few have worn the uniform in defense of the country. It is a unique and select club. Then when you consider the size of the Marine Corps, you are in an even more select group - what we call, quoting Shakespeare, "A Band of Brothers."
God Bless you and I know the Lord will continue to comfort and heal you.
