Mary Kauzlaric

Monterey, Mary Evelyn Kauzlaric, a native of Kelso, Washington and a resident of Monterey since the late 1940’s, passed away peacefully at the Carmel Hills Care Center on May 1st with her family by her side.

Mary was a member of St. John’s Chapel and before retiring served as the church’s secretary for over 30 years. She was also a member of the churches Alter Guild.

Mary is survived by her daughters Vicki (Ron) Langford, Kathy Feather and Carol (Chad) Royal all of Monterey. Her grandchildren Deborah Stickley, Jennifer Cormier, Stephen Feather, Ashley Langford, and Michael, Allison, Mandy, and Jordan Royal, her great-grandchildren Victoria Lamb (Joey), Christopher Stickley, Clarissa Cormier, Veronica Gee and Hunter Feather, her great-great-granddaughter Mary Lamb.

She was preceded in death by her sister Jeanne Larcher, her mother Betty Elliott and her beloved husband Bill with whom she celebrated 66 years of marriage.

Mary’s family wishes to express their heart-felt appreciation to the staff of the Carmel Hills Care Center. Their excellent medical care, concern and loving support made a great difference and will be greatly appreciated always. Also a special thanks to her friends at St. John’s Chapel for all their love and support.

Funeral services will take place at St. John’s Chapel in Monterey this Friday May 9th at 11:00am followed by entombment at the San Carlos Cemetery in Monterey.
