Ollie M. DeChalk, a native of Manteca, California, passed away in Monterey. She has lived locally for over seventy-five years. Ollie is remembered as a hardworking, caring and generous woman who was very devoted to her family. She enjoyed participating as an active senior volunteer at the Oldemeyer Center in Seaside. Ollie’s husband of sixty-eight years, James DeChalk, passed away in 2011. She is survived by her children, James M. DeChalk of Marina and Linda Toussaint of El Cajon, five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Private family services will be held.
