I have just now learned of Rene's passing.    I met Rene in a catechism class at St. Angela's.  He had a great sense of humor and a  charming and sincere personality.   I remember him as a fun-loving person with a lot of heart who genuinely cared about people.  My sincere condolences to his family.

To the Villarreal Family,
One of my fondest memories of Rene was when I think he was still in High School. I was visiting his mother and we were sitting at the dining room table and Rene came home with a few of his friends. I remember Rene came in and gave his mom a hug and when they all left he hugged her again and I think he told her that he loved her. I think that was when I first fell for him. Later he would always give me a hug when he would see me. I hope Rene is at peace now . I will always love him….
