New Robert during his years when he was based in Belgium, working allready on an international level. Brilliant professionally, sharp intelligent and reserved he impressed me as a model to look up to. Gentle and available to his children and to those he cared about, he still was solid and reassuring whenever required. Left surely an impression that resisted to damage done by time passing by , as my few lines above are proving . Yes I felt sad learning that he now has moved on . With fond memories.

Passionate about local government, and ever vigilant - like a tiger in the bush. I always appreciated his passion and vision. Fair winds and following seas, my friend.

I met Bob almost 5 years ago when I first came to town. I sincerely respected his input and always enjoyed getting his email notes of support! He will be sorely missed by our community.

"Grief is the reminder that love was present, and that even if it's no longer in its original form, that love still exists." Peace and love to you all.

It's Goodby to an older brother, a loving friend, and a constructive inspiration for me in my early life. We shared high school, college, and armed service experiences, and these were unique to us. He was generous with his time and energy for his nieces and nephew, and he deservedly earned the title of World's Greatest Tour Director. Now we'll have to do our trips on our own, and he will be missed as we do.
