I apologize up front that I am a completely random person that you do not know writing here but I am compelled to write as, not knowing any details here, it sounds as if the loss of your loved one is very close to the circumstances of the loss of a very dear friend of ours, on 11/16-so very unexpected, sudden and tragic(and also medically related, but she had been in good health and doing great) and so devastating to her family and to all of us as her friends. We are all still reeling 5 weeks later, as our friend was a dear friend, wife ,sister and auntie who was only 47...I/we just want you to know you are not alone in your very tragic loss, and we are so very sorry for your loss...

Steve and family, I am so very sorry to hear about Susie!  She was a wonderful, caring and bright person.  It breaks my heart to think that she is not with you!  I know that her heart will always be with you. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

We are so sad to hear of Susie's passing. She was a beautiful person inside and out. She left us way too soon and she will be missed very much. Our sympathy goes out to Steve and family.

My prayers are with you, Steve. Susie's presence brightened the room and her "always willing to help" mindset was a blessing to all. Please know your family is in my thoughts.

I met Susie through her Bernardi cousins and enjoyed getting to know her a little during some of her occasional visits to Merced.  That she was beautiful was well known but the lasting impression with which she left me (and, I am sure, many others) was one of  great inner beauty and kindness.  It is difficult to express the sadness I feel for her family so I simply offer you my sincere condolences with the hope that each new day brings all of you a bit more comfort and peace.

I am a better person because I was able to call Susie my friend.  Steve, my heart aches for you and your family.  An angel has been sent up and another star will shine down on us. The King Tides are honoring the loss of an amazing woman. Peace

We had looked forward to getting together with Steve and Susie recently, but it was not to be.  We were stunned and saddened at the news.  We will miss her.  So very sorry, Steve.  Both of you will be in our thoughts and prayers.

Susie had the WARMEST heart on Del Monte Beach.  Her smile would dissolve all negativity that was around.  It is impossible for me to believe she isn't walking this earth anymore.
