I am sad that I had not been able to come and see you before you left, but I will always remember the long hours sitting for you 62 years ago while you painted my picture in that upstairs apartment in downtown Berkeley. Walking everyday  with Roger, your only son, down from Granny Ethels house on Eucalyptus. Now I find myself searching for that picture a couple times a week on the Internet. I did find Roger' picture on 1rstdibs that you did when he was 4, lots of blonde hair. I talked with him last week after 10 years. Your granddaughters are full grown one is a pharmacist in Sacramento at the Rite Aid. All my love Johnny
