Bill was born on April 10th, 1937 to William E. Bowen II and Phyllis Jane Bowen. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Randall Bowen and Wendy Bates and his grandchildren, Madison and Carly Bates. He is also survived by his stepson, Louis Buzzatto and step-grandchildren, Kylie Morris (Riley) and Rachel Buzzatto.
Bill had a long and varied set of careers ranging from a chemical sales person, manager of casting and fabrication for bronze sculptor
Malcolm Moran, head of manufacturing for Couroc giftware and many years as an engineer for Hyatt Hotel in Monterey.
Bill enjoyed hiking, camping, backpacking, beach parties, cross-country skiing and travels with Nancy to visit relatives and friends across our country plus traveling through Europe, New Zealand and Australia.
Bill's intelligence, humor, twinkling eyes will be missed by all.
