Barbara was predeceased by her father, Herman Polss; her mother, Iris Polss; and her husband, Richard Leventer.
She is survived by her brother, Perry Polss; her son, Steven (Annie) Leventer; her daughters, Amy (Dave) Leventer and Lisa (Mitch) Leventer; her grandchildren, Sarah (Frank) Leventer, Ashley Leventer, Lizzy Reed, Billy Reed, Peter Nauffts, and Andrew Nauffts; and her great-grandchildren, Charlotte Capogna and Oliver Capogna.
A funeral service will be held at IJ Morris at Star of David of the Palm Beaches, located at 9321 Memorial Park Road, Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33412, on January 7, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. A committal service will follow from 1:00 pm to 1:30 pm.
