Dennis Brody

With deep sadness, along with gratitude for the wonderful, full life he lived, we mourn the loss of Dennis Brody. Born and raised in The Bronx, New York, Dennis was blessed with a life of simchas. He married Carol, his high school sweetheart, his companion, and the love of his life for 63 years. He delighted in accompanying his beloved children, Jared and Jaclyn, to countless soccer tournaments, softball games, concerts, and on family vacations — where he often had to chase them down double black diamond trails, which he delighted in less. He loved his grandchildren, Gabriel, Pierce, Sophie, and Noa, to “the moon, the stars, the planets and beyond.” None remember PopPop ever saying the word no.

Dennis led Human Resources departments for much of his distinguished professional career. In doing so, he helped thousands of people to live better lives, and often counseled, comforted, and aided people during the most vulnerable parts of their own lives.

He is survived by his immediate family, his loving sister Susan, his close-knit extended family, and his adoring friends, who will remember his positivity and humor. All will miss him dearly.

A funeral service for Dennis will be held Friday, June 14, 2024 at 12:00 PM at IJ Morris at Star of David of the Palm Beaches, 9321 Memorial Park Road, Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33412.
