Loving wife, sister, mother, grandmother and friend
Liz Greenebaum, passed peacefully in her home on March 15, 2023, in Palm Beach Gardens, FL, surrounded by her family, after a 12-year battle with Parkinson’s Disease.
Funeral Services will be held at Star David IG Morris Chapel in West Palm Beach. A graveside ceremony will be held at Beth Israel Cemetery in Woodbridge, NJ.
Liz was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., but was raised in Bloomfield, NJ. She graduated from Boston University with a degree in speech therapy and then married Rick, the love of her life. They moved to Livingston, NJ and raised three daughters, all while being an active volunteer and working in a variety of retail stores, most notably, Irma’s Bag in Livingston. Liz was a people person and became friends with everyone she met. She was beautiful, inside and out. She was an active member of Greenbrook Country Club and served on the Board of Directors. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
Liz is survived by her loving husband Rick of almost 57 years. She is survived by her daughters Sue (Jon) Wasserman of Livingston, Jill (Sam) Lulkin of Bloomfield Hills, MI, and Jessica Greenebaum (Devin Pray) of West Hartford, CT; brother Andrew; and four grandchildren, Ben and Jack Wasserman and Emily and Ethan Lulkin.
Those who wish to honor Liz’s memory may donate to the Parkinson’s Foundation or NCJW/Essex.
