I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Scott Hyber. While we didn't work together long, Scott was nothing but incredibly kind and spoke lovingly of his family. I am extremely sorry for your lose and his entire family is in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Martha, Alan, Cindy, Jackie & Scott's wife & sons who I have never yet met, I have many memories of Scott when we were kids but the strongest memory that shines eternally is his smile. Although we weren't re-aquainted as adults, his sudden passing has seriously saddened me and hit me hard this past week. My prayers go out to all of you as you find peace adjusting to life without him and slowly heal from this sorrow. Love, Debbie

Dear Martha, Alan ,Cindy Jackie, Beth, Joshua and Jason,  We feel so sad about Scott's passing and still in shock.  Our family has so many wonderful memories from our first meeting in Flushing and becoming friends with the Hybers through Scott when he and Richie were in 5th grade.  They discussed their bungalow colonies and which was better.  Scotty won out and here we are so many years later.  We had great years there.  Good times and wonderful memories.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

When I first started to work for WJNO back in 1997, Scott was the first person I encounterd on that day. He took me "under his wing" and helped me with understanding the radio station and answering any questions I had. Scott was a true and knowledgeable professional, a fun guy, and a friend. He will be missed.

I got to know Scott well and can honestly tell you he was one of a kind! I am grateful for knowing Scott as he touched my life in so many ways. It was a pleasure not only working with him on a daily basis but also being able to call him my friend. I know how hard it is to lose someone, always remember the good times, and keep those memories alive...
I too, will miss Scott, a lot.

I was so stunned to hear about Scott's passing. Though I only worked with him for a little over a year, I found him to be a warm, funny, helpful man who instantly became part of the James Crystal family.  He touched all of us in so many ways and has left a void in our hearts that will not soon be filled. May his memory be a blessing.
