On February 23, 2023 our beloved mother, Janice Onrot Perl passed away peacefully in her sleep at age 78. We are shocked and heartbroken to lose such an amazing woman who lived her life for her family, especially her three grandchildren.
Janice was born in Toronto , Canada on August 15, 1944 to the late Samuel and Elsie (Feldman) Onrot. She moved to Miami , Florida when she was 14 years old and shortly thereafter she met who would become the love of her life, Charles Perl. They married on June 30, 1963. Charles and Janice knew they wanted a big family, and that’s what they accomplished together.
Janice and Charles are survived by their 4 children, Risa Perl, Tobi Perl, Amy Redding(Eric) and Mark Perl along with their three grandchildren Michael Kerniss, Stephanie Kerniss and Samantha Redding.
Janice is also survived by her sister Marlene Slingbaum(Steve) and Martin Onrot(Iris) as well as many beloved, nieces and nephews, Aunts, cousins and friends.
In lieu of of flowers we ask that donations be made in her memory to The Alzheimer’s Association.
