I’m so deeply sorry to learn of the loss of such a fine gentleman whom I have always and will continue to know as “Jen’s Dad” (of course Josh’s too).. He was always such a kind man and very nice to me anytime I came over, He was extremely pleasant to be around and talk with. One thing I admire about him is I know he is a man of extremely fine character and good values and morals, as he raised one of the kindest and good hearted persons that I know, Jen, and I can see how she has come from a parent who clearly instilled kindness and goodness. My heart goes out to you all and I  hope that you are comforted by the thought that this man is surely in heaven and with angels and I pray at peace. I know that nothing can be said to take away the pain but I hope the memories of his beautiful shining soul will bring comfort and keep him alive in all of you. May his memory be for a blessing. Rest in Peace.

I couldn’t ask for a better father-in-law than Jeff. He welcomed me into the family and treated me like his own. He raised an incredibly kind hearted daughter and an amazingly loving son filled with compassion and integrity, who I am fortunate enough to call my husband. I will miss Jeff’s stories, he always had a few to tell whenever we all got together. His memory will live on in the stories we will tell of him to our daughter Olivia. Rest in peace Dad.

I’ve had the pleasure of knowing the Fogelson family since I was 15 years old. Jen and I were fast friends when she came to Community High, we had countless sleepovers, birthday parties and shared many joys together in Scarsdale, Florida, and NYC. I will never forget Jeff’s kindness and warmth and acceptance. He and my parents loved to talk and share about everything. To Janet, Jen, and Josh, our family extends our deepest sympathies and gratitude for all the years of friendship. Remember it’s not goodbye it’s see you later. You will forever be in our prayers.

Jeffrey's mom and dad were my Aunt Gussie and Uncle Nat, Aunt Gussie being my dad's sister.   I'm sorry to hear of his passing and we offer our condolences to his loved ones.
Jeffrey had a share in a Hampton's house one summer with my sister and me, among others.  I'll never forget, and I've told this story many times, it was then I found out how funny he was and a practical joker too.  I rode my motorcycle to West Hampton, my first time going there.  This was circa 1977, no cell phones, needless to say.  I get to the small downtown and to a place called Magic's Pub, the local bar.  I went in and called Jeffrey as I had his number to ask for directions to the house.  He was home at the time behind Bloomingdale's.  He answered the phone.  I said, Jeffrey, it's Mark.  Can you tell me how to get to the house from Magic's?  He said, Hi, Mark, so nice to hear from you, take care, and he hung up.  I called back, thinking maybe we lost the connection.  Again, he said, Hey, Mark, great to hear your voice, and hung up again.  I stood there shocked.  I went to the bartender to get more change for the pay phone and called him again.  I said, Jeffrey, do not hang up on me again.  He was laughing out loud like crazy.  He then said, ok, I need to know which way you are facing.  When I tried to describe it he said, Put your ass on Magic's window.  Now go to your right on Dune road and the house will be on your left after a few miles.  I found it.  Also spent quite a few weekends there with him and his family.  One weekend his brother David came out with his girls. I remember them dancing to the Dancing Queen by Abba.

I was deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Jeffrey Fogelson. Please accept my heartfelt condolences during this difficult time. Jeffrey’s kindness, strength, and the positive impact he had on those around him will always be remembered. I hope you find comfort in the cherished memories you shared with him and in the support of friends and loved ones who care for you.
