Jerry B. Giniger, 90, of Delray Beach, Florida, passed away on March 9, 2026. Born April 8, 1935, in New York, New York, Jerry will be remembered as a formal and respectful presence—steadfast, devoted, and dignified in the way he moved through life. Jerry was a true people person, beloved by his family and friends. He never knew a stranger and befriended everyone he met. Jerry's charisma, drive and high intellect enabled him to overcome a difficult childhood, leading to two very successful careers.
Jerry was preceded in death by his mother, Irene Dorkin; and his spouse, Barbara Giniger. He is survived by his life partner, Diana Katz; his daughters, Joy (Jay Lazerowitz) Giniger-Figarsky and Sherri (Bill) Walter; his grandchildren, Josh, Alex (Marisa), Emma, Wren, and Joseph; his great-granddaughters, Norma Joy and Rosie; and his siblings, Ronald (Ruth) Dorkin and Re Dorkin.
A Funeral and Committal Service will be held on March 16, 2026, at 2:30 p.m at IJ Morris at Star of David of the Palm Beaches, 9321 Memorial Park Road, Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33412.
