Joseph J Weiss

Loving, faithful husband of Dorothy Weiss.

Born and raised in Philadelphia, graduate of South Philadelphia High School and Temple University.

Proud U.S. Army Veteran and Purple Heart recipient, he served in the European Theater in World War II.

After a career as an accountant and auditor for the Department of Defense, he retired and had a second career as a comptroller for the State of Florida.

Joe was married to the love of his life Dorothy Weiss (nee Weiss) for 61 years. During their honeymoon in Miami Beach he promised his bride he would one day bring her back to paradise and in 1980 they relocated from Philadelphia to West Palm Beach.

Beloved husband of Dorothy; loving father of Debbie (Mark) Alper, Alan (Cindy) Weiss, Randy Weiss and Amy Weiss; Cherished grandfather of Seth (Nancy) Alper, Becca Alper, Billy Alper, Brittany Weiss, Zachary Weiss, Mason Weiss, Adored great-grandfather of Joshua and Sarah Alper.
