Honorable Leonard L. Levin 94, of North Palm Beach, Florida formerly of Glencoe, Illinois passed away Tuesday, October 24, 2017. Leonard was born in Thermopolis, WY on June 21, 1923 to Louis and Ella Levin and grew up in Chicago. He graduated from Lake View High School and earned both his bachelor’s and law degrees from DePaul University. Leonard served in the US Army during WWII. He practiced law for 36 years and went onto be elected 3 consecutive terms as a judge to serve in the Circuit Court of Cook County where he sat 21 years in the law division. Leonard was a man who was passionate about his family and friends and always spoke his mind. Loyalty and integrity were an integral part of his character and he never missed his daily workout. Leonard is predeceased by his wife of 59 years Joan Levin (nee Bachrach). He is survived by his children, daughter Ellyn, son Lewis, daughter-in-law Rozanne, and granddaughter Lindsey.
