I'm not sure if this is the same Les Sawyer. But if you were Brett Norman stepfather and Joyce's man then you're the right one. I'll never forget the first day we met at a Toyota dealership when you first came to South Florida from Philadelphia. Of course you sold me a new car. I've never seen a salesman as good as you. We became good friends and I met your entire family. And I'm sure you might remember our trip to key West. When someone came up to me and tapped me on the shoulder and wanted to dance with me and I freaked out. Or when Joyce caught me in the fountain naked with a beautiful Colombian female in 
 Key West. And I'm sure you remember when I went on an extended vacation for eight and a half years and the FEDS paid for everything. I took myself and no one else. I've been looking for you for years. You're in a better place and we'll all meet again.

So sad to hear about Les's passing. He was a good friend and a character. So many adventures, memories and laughs . I worked with Les at a couple of dealerships. I remember once in the 80's when the movie "Apocalypse Now" came out. Les asked a customer on a test deive if he saw the movie. The guy said " no". So Les drove him downtown and made him watch the movie! When they got back the guy jumped out of the car and ran. God bless you and your family. You will be missed.

I have so many Les memories.  Obviously most of them are from many years ago.  He loved Ginny very much and it showed.  He also loved his Aunt Marge and would visit her often.  He was definitely the life of every party he attended.  He once helped an old boyfriend of mine change a flat tire.  We were very grateful…..


I remember one story when he was a young man in the army he came to stay but he had a cast on his arm. He said he got is diving off a cliff  with some of his friends on leave. He was truly one of a kind. Say hello to the rest of the family 

Most entertaining of all the family.  Great story of the past, especially, of how Mom ( his sister) raised him. I'm sure she is taking care of him now. Enjoy the family reunion in the sky. 

Always the life of the party.  His stories we’re legendary.  Hope he has a wonderful family reunion ! ❤️
