Marilyn is survived by her spouse, Sidney Lassen; her daughter Jill Lasssen Davis Botnick (Michael E. Botnick); and her dMarilyn Sizeler Lassen of Palm Beach, Florida passed away on Tuesday, October 5, 2021. Marilyn was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on July 12, 1936 to Helen (Lebow) and A. Louis Sizeler. She attended Isidore Newman School where she met her husband, Sidney, and then attended Newcomb College at Tulane University. Loved by many and admired by all, Marilyn was known for her kindness and love of celebration. Her life’s passion was truly her family where she was the pillar of support for her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Marilyn is survived by her devoted husband of 72 years, Sidney Lassen; brother, I. William Sizeler (Jane); daughters, Jill Lassen Davis Botnick (Michael) and Sherryl Lassen Buring (Joe). She was lovingly known as Gaga to her eight grandchildren; Elizabeth (Mathew), Matthew (Lauren), Christopher (Julia), Abby, Molly, Jordan, Julia (Mathew), and Marcus (Genevieve) and to her eight great grandchildren; Samantha, James, Caroline, Rebecca, Charlotte, Delilah, Hansel, and Violette.
Funeral Service for Marilyn was held Monday, October 11, 2021 at IJ Morris at Star of David of the Palm Beaches, 9321 Memorial Park Road, Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33412.
