Marion Rosencrans, born on October 28, 1939, in Brooklyn, New York, passed away on January 17, 2026, at the age of 86. Marion was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, cherished by all who knew her.
Marion is predeceased by her loving husband, William Rosencrans, her parents, Herman and Minnie Kaplan, her sister, Edith Kaplan, and her brother, Stanley Kaplan.
She is survived by her children, Matthew (Kara) Rosencrans, Liz (Andy) Reitman, and Paul (Libby) Rosencrans. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Jacob (Julie), William, Benjamin, Eli, Jack, Sam, Sophie, Jess, and Max.
A Funeral Service will be held at Schwartz Brothers-Jeffer Memorial Chapels, located at 114-03 Queens Blvd, Forest Hills, NY 11375, on January 22, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. Following the funeral service, a committal service will take place at Mount Carmel Cemetery, 83-45 Cypress Hills St, New York, NY 11385.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alexander W. Dreyfoos School of the Arts in Marion's memory.
Marion will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and the love she gave to her family and friends. She will be deeply missed.
