I worked security  at the Creek during the early 90's and Mr. Pritch was always so good to me. He knew how much I loved his F40 and always brought it by the gate house so we could admire it. He was a truly good person and I wish circumstances had been different so I could have gotten to know him better. My sincerest condolences to the Pritch family. I have no more words. Even though I only knew him casually/professionally, my heart is broken.

I have known Mark as a friend of the family for more than 40 years. He was a great guy, smart and full of humor. He had many of the same interests as my father and me -- cars, electronics, gadgets. He will be sorely missed.

How sad to learn that we have lost the bright light that was Mark. He and I  were friends in high school and shared more escapades and happy times than my mother, for one, would care to hear about! Even at that young age, Mark was charming, confident, and the most loyal  of friends. I'm grateful to have had him in my life and to have been the beneficiary of his friendship.

I have known Mark for a long time... he taught me how to drive.  When I got two speeding and one street racing ticket during my first week with a license, Mark was so proud of me, he came to my court appearance! Many fun times during the '60s!  Mark will be missed!

Mark was my friend from our first class together at Southside Sr. High School, in Rockville Centre. We remained friends for many years. I will miss him.

Mark was a really fun guy.  Lived life to the fullest.  Loved his Cannonball stories.  He will be greatly missed.

Mark was a gifted serial entrepreneur. He started and grew perhaps the finest electronics repair facilities in America! Mark was a mentor to me on many levels as I grew my business and family. One of his businesses was in the same Long Island industrial park as mine. We were of very similar minds and passions.

We met at the 1979 Cannonball. Mark raced in the U.S. Expresses, and enjoyed racing his Ferraris and other cars for many years after selling his businesses and retiring at an early age enough age to create envy by me and many who admired him.

A loving husband and father of three, Mark and I shared our passions for cars and technology by email in recent years. He was rare force of nature and will be sorely missed by many. Know that he revved life to the limit! RIP my friend!

Sorry to hear of his death.  I remember him  well from RVC and Southside HS. Years ago (1960's) he was best friend to my brother Art Furtzaig, and a frequent visitor to our home. A really smart young man, full of fun and a radio fanatic in those days. May he rest in peace.

I always enjoyed the time I spent with Mark, I'll miss him, he was a great person with a big heart.

Maggie and I were among Mark's many "race track friends" who spent many weekends with him and Jean before he retired from racing.  We were together for days at a time, his ever-present cigarette going, and his funny comments cracking up everyone.  His kindness and generosity were only eclipsed by his practical jokes (of which I was the "beneficiary" from time to time).
 
Sadly, we had only seen one-another a couple of times in recent years, but we will dearly miss his irreverent and witty companionship.

What a shock to learn of the passing of Mark. I  have so many memories and laughs of the many years we knew each other. From the SEH days in Miami, The Ferrari's. The boats. Everything. A great loss.  My condolences to you Jill, Michael and Marjorie.

We are so broken hearted to hear the sad news of Mark's passing. He will always hold a special part in our hearts. To know him was truly a gift from God. He was just one special man that I will always miss. Our prayers to Jill, Michael and Marjorie that your heavy hearts will heal.  You can be so proud to say that Mark Pritch was my father and husband. I'll miss you brother. Rock and Roll

Oh wow.. I am shocked beyond belief.. Mark is a very old friend from our days together at Glenoaks.. I became friends with Mark at that time and worked for him for many years. He was always a fair, honest and funny man. We also shared a love of cars and movies. We have kept in touch ever since. I will miss our chats and his friendship.

Mark was a loving, kind, and generous man. His devotion to his dedicated wife and children were exemplary and his life, although much too short, left an indelible mark on all those who were fortunate enough to know him. He will be sorely missed.

I'm in total disbelief....I was just thinking today, that I should give him a call....we will miss him....

am truly shocked about the passing of this kind, generous and wonderful human being. During the time we lived in South Florida, Mark and his family always opened their heart and home to my family. Words cant express how I feel at this moment.
