

Marvin Jack Edelstein, 82, of Lake Worth, Fl passed away Saturday, September 6 after a courageous battle with cancer.He was born to the late Sarah and Benjamin Edelstein on April 10, 1932 in Brooklyn, NY. He married Estelle Zykofsky Edelstein on a snowy spring day on April 13, 1957. They raised their sons in Brooklyn and Staten Island, New York before relocating to Florida in 1980 for their retirement. Marvin was a Military Policeman in the US Army from 1953-55 at the close of the Korean War. Marvin worked for the Metropolitan Tobacco Co. as a top sales representative for 35 years. He spent his retirement growing a beautiful flower garden and caring for his many dogs while enjoying Florida with Estelle and his family.Marvin is survived by his beloved wife Estelle; his loving children Philip Edelstein of Palm Beach Gardens, Larry Edelstein of Boynton Beach and Mandy Edelstein of Lake Worth; cherished brother of Harold Edelstein of Hudson, MA and adored by several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, in-laws and his faithful dog Gertie.Funeral services will be held Monday, September 8, 2014 at 12:00 Noon at IJ Morris at Star of David Cemetery of the Palm Beaches, 9321 Memorial Park Road, West Palm Beach, Florida 33412.
