Matilda was born on April 27, 1922 in Chicago, Illinois. She is preceded in death by her parents Victor and Stella Jaffe (nee Sarfaty), her sister Doris Marachnick, and her brother Robert Saby Jaffe. She is survived by her daughter Ellen Namer, her son Joseph (Sarah) Namer, and her grandson Victor (Janae) Namer.
A funeral service for Matilda will be held at IJ Morris at Star of David of the Palm Beaches, located at 9321 Memorial Park Road, Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33412, on December 5, 2025, from 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm. A committal service will follow at the same location from 3:30 pm to 4:00 pm.
