Melvyn is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Dorothy Hirsch; his daughters Melanie Wohl, Sue Cohn and Nina (Michael Carp) Hirsch; his brother Gerald (Barbara) Hirsch; his granddaughter Rose Cohn, his grandson Andrew (Mariam) Carp, his granddaughter Liza (Ronald) Justice, his grandson Aaron (Bridget) Cohn, his grandson David (Maria) Corn, his granddaughter Hannah (James Preston) Cohn, his great granddaughters, Natalie and Jordyn Strickland and his great grandson Hudson Cohn, and many nieces, nephews and many close friends.
Melvyn was preceded in death by his sister Barbara Casson and his sister-in-law Norma Hirsch.
Funeral Services and Burial for Melvyn will be held at 12 noon, Sunday, January 14, 2024 at IJ Morris at Star of David of the Palm Beaches, 9321 Memorial Park Road, Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33412.
Shiva will be observed at the Hirsch Residence Sunday following services until 6pm and Monday 6:30 to 8:30pm
