

Mike was born on May 16, 1940, in New York, New York. He was a devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle and friend. Mike was an avid golfer and a lover of many sports. He was a remarkable story teller and an excellent cook, often making gourmet dinners for others.
Mike grew up on the lower east side of Manhattan and went to Seward Park High School. In 1966, he married his wife, Adelle. In 1969, they moved to Marlboro, New Jersey, where they raised their two children.
Mike was determined to find a path for success and he became the proud owner of Caprice Fabrics, a textile business he ran with dedication for many years in New York City. After retiring at 58 years old, Mike and Adelle found their next home at BallenIsles Country Club in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
Mike spent 30 years living at BallenIsles Country Club, where he enjoyed the warm weather, endless golf, and a strong sense of community. In 2024, he moved to Michigan to be closer to his family, where he spent his final year making memories, surrounded by love.
He is survived by his wife, Adelle; his children, Robin Cohen and Jonathan Vogel; his grandchildren, Jake and Emily Cohen; his sister, Eileen Fishel and many friends, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Ray Vogel; his siblings, Stanley Vogel, Florence (Vogel) Lubin, and Joseph Vogel.
Mike will be remembered for his calm and steady presence, love for life, and generous heart. He had a quiet strength and an unwavering love for his family, always putting others before himself. He was deeply loved and will be missed greatly by all who knew him.
