Nancy Lee Schofield

Nancy Lee Schofield, 77, of Morriston, Florida passed away on Sunday, January 21, 2024 at her home surrounded by her family. Nancy was born in Champaign, Illinois to Don and Irene Chapman (nee Gregory).

Nancy graduated from Stranahan High School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida in 1964. She was married to Richard Glen Schofield on June 13, 1966. Nancy was the Supervisor of Operations for the School Board of Broward County Transportation Department. Nancy had a passion for a good time and enjoyed riding Harleys with her husband, time with friends and family at the casino. She was a football and cheer mom who was highly involved with the NE Rebels and was always supporting her 3 children. You always knew where you stood with Nancy, and she was the biggest cheerleader for her grandchildren.

Nancy is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Richard Glen Schofield; her daughters, Sandra Calvo and Christie Garcia; her son-in-law, Edward Mendez; her sister, Martha Condon; her granddaughters, Kayla Calvo and Lindsay Calvo; her grandsons, Jaxson Mendez and Maddox Mendez.

Nancy was preceded in death by her son Ricky Schofield.

A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00am, Saturday, February 10, 2024 at Lauderdale Memorial Park, 2001 SW 4th Ave, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33315 followed by A Celebration of Nancy's Life at The American Legion, 4250 NE 5th Ave., Oakland Park, Florida 33334.
